Dougan Mcgrath, MD, Managing Editor (Editor-In-Chief )

Dougan is a third-year internal medicine resident from the Philadelphia suburbs, he has aspirations to work as a hospitalist on the west coast. When he isn’t working, Dougan likes to cook Korean food, read literary fiction, and meditate. He plans to journal and write as a way of documenting his experiences of working in healthcare.

Emily Grant, MD, MPH Submissions & Editorial Lead, (Co-Editor)

Emily is a second-year internal medicine resident and lifelong resident of the PNW. She has an undergraduate degree in creative writing, which she used to start writing a book as a way to decompress from studying for exams in medical school (sadly, the book is still not finished). She enjoys reading, fiction writing, and going on outdoor adventures with her husband and two dogs.
